The story about the Oral history

I really liked the oral history class in the winter of 2009. We also interviewed each other upstairs in the back room with Andrew. The oral history is interviewing is where we work to see how long we have been here @ Spindle works & how many years we have been coming here. Andrew had brought in a DVD to show us about Sandy Ives the oral historian about people that work in the woods & he is also a professor @ the University of Maine @ Orono . We also did the video recording with the video camera. We used Oral history packets during the class. My favorite part was the writing questions

we're doing a series of classes on artists maps: memory maps, places where we live(d), maps of the heart, and so on. two books have helped us develop ideas for our work, you are here: personal geographies and other maps of the imagination and transit maps of the world. we also looked at a few websites, such as the map room.
