Southern Maine has been treated to an early blanket of snow this year, and any time it starts to get dirty, the sky refreshes the coating. It is most magical... The artists have been SO busy this fall getting ready for the "gift giving season", and we have many wonderful new things to show for it. the beginning of winter at spindleworks.

we had our first big snowstorm here in coastal maine today.





it's a quiet day here at spindleworks, since only 2 of our usual 29-person group of monday artists were able to make it in.








we recently had to say a sad goodbye to our staff madeline gielow. while we know we'll see her when she visits, and fills in as relief staff, we already feel the loss and miss her greatly! here are a few pictures from the goodbye party we held for her.












we're gearing up for the holiday season and have lots of great new works of art for sale. we'll be open on friday december 7 until 8p and on saturday december 9 from ten to five, and we'll have a table at space gallery (538 congress st, portland) on wednesday december 12 for their shopadoo event. stop bye and say hello!
